Univision Mulls Plan to Take On Vice with The Onion TV

Financial Times: Univision has sought to broaden its appeal beyond its core Spanish-speaking audience through acquisitions, including Gawker’s portfolio of websites and a stake in The Onion comedy site. “We’ve seen what Vice has done with Viceland. There’s no reason why we can’t take The Onion or Jezebel . . . from the digital to linear side.”
