Gannett Chief Content Officer to Also Edit USA Today

USA Today: Gannett, owner of USA Today, said that chief content officer Joanne Lipman will become editor in chief of its flagship newspaper, expanding her role at a time when the company’s 110 news properties are increasingly coordinating editorial coverage. Lipman joined Gannett in December 2015 as CCO, a job she will retain.
