Cumulus Adopts Anti-Takeover Defense of US Radio Giant

Atlanta Business Chronicle: Troubled radio giant Cumulus Media reported it has taken steps to block possible takeover attempts. The nation’s second largest radio network with 447 owned-and-operated radio stations, lost $510 million in 2016 and is carrying $2.4 billion in debt. It’s now engaged in a turnaround effort.
