Yahoo’s Mayer Paying Big Salaries to Retain Talent

Business Insider: Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer tends to pay people a lot more money than they would probably make elsewhere. For example, a source close to a few Yahoo execs said that a friend of his in the company’s ad sales group makes a stunning $2.5 million a year. Compensation for digital ad sales execs is “all over the place,” said this source, but $2.5 million is “astronomical.”
