Tronc Slashes Jobs at New York Daily News as Editor Nears Exit

New York Post: Tronc chairman Michael Ferro on Tuesday started cutting jobs at the beleaguered Daily News — wiping out the entire senior ad sales team and more than 20 others. Among those said to be exiting are 29-year veteran Linda Brancato, senior VP of advertising.
