Comcast’s NBC News Vows Internal Probe, No Payout for Lauer

USA Today: Many are still reeling days after NBC News fired long-time morning host Matt Lauer Wednesday for inappropriate sexual behavior in the workplace. NBC will not be paying out any of the millions remaining on the fired “Today” show host’s contract.
