Viacom Shares Drop as No Bankers Hired for CBS Merger

Barron’s: Viacom shares tumbled more than 4%, after reports that no bankers have been hired to handle a possible merger with CBS. That’s not a huge surprise, given that when the reports broke on Friday, they also came with news that the companies weren’t in active talks about a deal.
