Verizon Shoots Down Chatter of Blockbuster Media Deal

TheStreet: Verizon CEO Lowell McAdam has shot down expectations for a major media acquisition by the telecom giant. “It’s nice to be loved,” McAdam said regarding press reports that have linked Verizon to numerous acquisition targets “There is nothing going on right now with us considering a large media play.”
