Disney-Fox Deal Likely to Bring New Wave of Media M&A

TheStreet: Disney’s $66 billion purchase of 21st Century Fox’s entertainment assets “is the spark that is going to launch continued M&A activity,” said Moody’s Investors Service analyst Neil Begley. The deal created a “fear of being left behind or having nothing left to acquire to gain scale and to gain IP.”
