Amazon to Order Epic Historical Miniseries from Spielberg

C21Media: Amazon Studios has greenlit a miniseries based on the epic saga of Hernan Cortes to be executive produced by Steven Spielberg and actor Javier Bardem. Cortes will star Bardem in the lead role of the rebellious conquistador who overthrew the Aztec empire for the Spanish crown.
