Spotify is Named Cannes Lions Media ‘Person’ of the Year

AdAge: The Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity plans to name music-streaming platform Spotify its 2018 Media Brand of the Year on June 20. The award is typically received by individuals (as “media person of the year”), and in past years has honored former Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer, former YouTube CEO Salar Kamangar and Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg.
