New York Times Makes Big Investment to Expand Wirecutter

Nieman Lab: The New York Times bought the Wirecutter site, then focused almost exclusively on electronics, in 2016 and has been quietly expanding its range since then. The new Wirecutter Money vertical “is the first time that we have made a really strong, big investment in coverage of non-products.”
