Disney Deal Moves Fox to Calm Employees Ahead of Layoffs

Hollywood Reporter: In a bid to calm employees worried about their jobs as Disney prepares to absorb most of 21st Century Fox, a human resources exec from the Rupert Murdoch-controlled company issued a memo promising “generous severance” to soon-to-be laid-off workers.
