AT&T’s HBO, Cinemax Go Dark on Dish in Carriage Dispute

Wall Street Journal: AT&T’s HBO and sister channel Cinemax went dark on satellite broadcaster Dish Network early Thursday as the two sides couldn’t come to terms on a new distribution agreement. HBO said this is the first time in its more than 40 years of operation that it went dark on a pay-TV provider.
