Guardian Gets Donations from More Than 1 Million Readers

Press Gazette: The Guardian has received “financial support” from more than 1 million readers since March 2016, editor Kath Viner has revealed, but she insists the newspaper is “not a charity.” More than half of the more than 600,000 one-off donations came from the US.
