New York Post: Spin Media is moving its headquarters from Hollywood to New York — and it’s laying off staff as it tries once again to cut costs. Already, 15 people have been let go, and more cuts are coming by the time the move is completed in September, sources said. Most of the editorial staff will now be in New York. So far, the company has not been able to turn an annual profit since 2012. Steve Blackwell sold his Death & Taxes blog to Spin Media in early 2014 and then in July became the fourth CEO in two years.
