New York Post: The New York Times is closing its Home section, the latest in a string of cost-cutting moves at the newspaper. “It’s a really sad day,” said section editor Noel Millea, who will continue working for the Times in a yet-to-be-determined role. “I loved the section, and I had a really talented group of people.” Several of the 10 or so Home staffers were laid off in the recent downsizing at the paper, which trimmed a total of 110 newsroom jobs through layoffs and voluntary buyouts.
