Netflix to Face Saudi Video Rival Boosted by Veteran of Hulu

Financial Times: The Middle East’s largest broadcaster, MBC Group, is expanding its video streaming service in a bid to rival Netflix in the Arab world as the Saudi government steps up its use of media assets in regional power battles. MBC is to hire former Hulu exec Johannes Larcher to broaden its digital and video on demand service.
