Digital First’s Buyout Bid Gives Gannett Value of $1.4 Billion

MarketWatch: Shares of Gannett rocketed 20% toward an 8-month high in premarket trade Monday, after the media company and publisher of the USA Today newspaper received a buyout bid from hedge fund MNG Enterprises that would value Gannett at about $1.4 billion.
