News Corp to Pay Oscar-Winner in Defamation Trial in Australia

Sydney Morning Herald: Oscar-winning actor Geoffrey Rush has been awarded an initial $850,000 in damages after he won his defamation case against News Corp. tabloid the Daily Telegraph in Sydney over reports accusing him of “inappropriate behavior.”
