New York Post: The National Labor Relations Board is about to rap Time Inc. on the knuckles for declaring an “impasse” with the NewsGuild and imposing a new contract on just under 200 workers on Time, People, Sports Illustrated, Fortune and Money late last year. “The NLRB informed us verbally that the company declaring ‘impasse’ was not valid,” said Peter Szekely, secretary-treasurer of the NewsGuild. That means the NLRB will soon issue a formal complaint.
