Wall Street Journal: New online marketplace PowerToFly matches women with jobs. The idea is that women can work remotely, which makes it easier to keep their jobs and care for children, and that companies can stop measuring productivity by hours spent in the office. The company has raised $6.5 million in funding. The Series A round was led by Crosslink Capital and includes Hearst Ventures and Lerer Hippeau Ventures, taking total funding to $7.5 million. Hearst is a PowerToFly client.
