Talking Biz News: Bloomberg’s group advertising director Ali Salama has been named Bloomberg Pursuits publisher, effective immediately. Salama replaces Emma Winchurch-Beale, who has taken on a new role for Bloomberg Media as client lead overseeing all advertising sales categories in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Salama, who joined Bloomberg in 2014 as group advertising director, is an 18-year-veteran of the advertising/publishing industry. Prior to Bloomberg, she held senior management positions at Conde Nast, Self, Shape and Universal McCann.
