CBS Former News Chief to Work on Podcast Strategy for Spotify

The Information: Spotify has tapped former CBS News president David Rhodes as a consultant to help drive an expansion into news programming.  A news push is part of a broader ramp-up of Spotify’s podcast offerings to diversify the company’s revenue beyond music.
