Gannett Mega Merger Will Threaten Journalism, Union Says

Washington Post:  The country’s leading newspaper union issued a scathing analysis of the proposed Gannett-GateHouse merger, saying the deal would drive down wages and employment for journalists while overcompensating GateHouse’s private equity backers.
