Schneps Media to Merge Free Newspapers Metro, amNewYork

New York Post:  Metro New York, one of the city’s two freebie daily papers, will disappear following the sale of assets to Schneps Media, which already owns the other freebie paper amNew York. A merged paper will be reflagged as amNewYork Metro starting Jan. 6.
