Daily News: The Sith hit the fan after Amy Schumer’s controversial “Star Wars”-themed spread for GQ magazine was revealed to have been done without Lucasfilm’s blessing. “Lucasfilm & Disney didn’t approve, participate in or condone the inappropriate use of our characters in this manner,” a rep tweeted on the official Star Wars feed on Twitter. While the GQ cover drew plenty of free publicity, Lucasfilm is notoriously protective of its “Star Wars” characters.
