Los Angeles Times: Tom Calderone, president of VH1, is exiting his post after seven years. “I’m reaching out today because I am leaving the VH1 family,” Calderone said in an internal memo to VH1 staff. “And with that in mind, my very first thought, was to send an email to say thank you to all of you.” Prior to his role as president, Calderone served as general manager of VH1 for MTV Networks, where he started working in 1998. His departure comes as VH1 grapples with lower ratings. The network is home to shows such as “Love & Hip Hop,” “Basketball Wives” and “Mob Wives.”
