ByteDance Hopes to Get More Time in Sale of US TikTok

Ars Technica: ByteDance, the Chinese company that owns TikTok, is facing a looming Sept.15 deadline to sell its US operations. On Thursday evening, President Trump told reporters that the deadline wouldn’t be pushed back. “I’m not extending deadlines. No. It’s Sept. 15.”
