Media Nation: Gannett has sold the Inquirer and Mirror of Nantucket to a group of local owners. Also, Gannett has sold the Pine Bluff Commercial to the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette, which is itself independently owned. So maybe it is a trend. Or a mini-trend.
