Sydney Morning Herald: Lachlan Murdoch has stamped his authority over his father Rupert’s cable and film giant 21st Century Fox, warning that the “scale and speed of rapid change” in the media and entertainment sector will be “overwhelming for some” in the industry. Murdoch said it was a “privilege to be back” on his first conference call at his father’s media empire in years, pointing out that he, his father and his brother James were aligned with shareholders because they are among the largest, longest-standing shareholders themselves.
