News Corp’s Rupert Murdoch Sees Drop in Pay

Wall Street Journal: News Corp. reported that the total compensation for executive chairman Rupert Murdoch and CEO Robert Thomson fell in the fiscal year ended in June because of a decline in stock awards. In a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, the company said Murdoch’s total compensation was valued at $5.07 million for the business year ended in June, down from $8.7 million a year earlier.
