New York Post: The Gray Lady got some good news on Tuesday. Standard & Poor’s revised its ratings outlook for the New York Times to positive from stable and affirmed its B+ corporate credit rating. “The outlook revision to positive reflects our increasing confidence that the New York Times will continue to prudently manage its balance sheet and reduce debt,” said S&P analyst Minesh Patel. He also said it expected the company to repay its 6.625 percent senior notes, due in December 2016, from cash on hand.
