Hearst Sells Houston Chronicle Newspaper Building

Houston Business Journal: After a summer of negotiations, the Houston Chronicle building reportedly is under contract to be sold. Houston-based Hines has reached an agreement with New York-based Hearst to buy the downtown building. The deal is likely to close in the fourth quarter of this year. The Houston Chronicle plans to consolidate and move its offices to a new campus in southwest Houston in early 2016.
