Washington Post President-GM to Depart at Year End

Politico: Washington Post president and general manager Stephen Hills will step down at the end of this year after a 28-year career with the paper, he announced. The Post will not replace Hills. Instead, Steve Gibson, the chief financial officer, will add the role of vice president, finance and operations, to his title. Other members of the executive team will take on broader roles. “The decision to leave the Washington Post was a very difficult one,” Hills said.
