Financial Times: German newspaper groups including Axel Springer are working with a Dutch startup to offer individual articles in exchange for micropayments. Blendle’s move to Germany is its first step outside its home market after it was launched in April. The business, which offers access to single articles via a website and app, has 400,000 registered users in the Netherlands. Blendle is looking at expansion into the English-language market.
